What is the deepest desire of your heart? What is it that you want most? What is it that makes your heart sing? What keeps you from achieving it? Life was meant to be enjoyed, not tolerated. If you are not following your dreams, you have to stop and ask yourself what it is you are following instead. We all have dreams and desires because that is what makes life worth living. Without our dreams, we have no hope and without hope life can be very depressing. We need to take steps to dream a bigger dream. This world was built by dreamers and dreams are the achievements of your heart. If you have not taken the time to unearth your dreams, maybe it is time to do so.
Stop and ask yourself today what it is that you truly desire. Then start taking steps to create that. When you let your passion drive you, little miracles will start popping up out of the blue. Your dreams are located deep within the recesses of your mind, as well as your heart…And If the mind can perceive it, the mind can achieve it.
To really live you must learn how to follow your heart and be who you want to be, no matter what. Whether or not you are young or old does not matter; it is never too late to follow your heart and start living your life. Whether you are 15 or 50, you are never too old to begin something new.
Figure out what it is you really want
At some point in your life you had a dream. It’s time to recreate it. Your dream may need to be updated or revised but know that there is still a way for you to achieve it. There are many paths you can take towards making a dream a reality, you just have to take a moment and be silent so that your heart can make those paths apparent. We were all put on this earth for a divine purpose and if you have not discovered yours, then it’s not too late to begin. To discover your purpose, you need to reach deep down inside your heart and ask yourself what it is that truly gives your life meaning. Once you discover what gives your life meaning, you can then take steps to take action.
It takes perseverance and hard work
You achieve your dreams through persistence and patience and dedication. You achieve your dreams by taking inspired action. No one ever accomplishes their dream without a little hard work, or shall I say a lot of hard work! The most important step you can take towards your dream is to take one small step towards it. No one ever achieves anything by merely dreaming, there comes a point when you have to devise a plan of action.
You can begin by formulating a plan of action and listing five small things you can do in support of your dream. As long as you are doing something towards your effort you are making progress. Begin by placing stepping stones out so you have a plan to follow.
Take Action
It doesn’t matter if it seems unachievable, the point is you are taking action and doing something in support of your dream and that takes courage and the universe rewards those with courage. Let’s say you have always wanted to write a book but you have no idea where to start. Why not start with writing a letter or starting a blog on a topic you love? That does not cost anything! Develop a following and people start noticing you. The point is to put yourself out there and take a chance. Be prepared to change and adapt along the way as well. There are a million roads to your destination; you just have to find the right one. You will know you are on the right track if you feel excited and exhilarated when you think about your goal.
When you dare to dream, you become much more motivated to take action. When you are motivated you have more get up and go. If you are finding it difficult to get motivated, perhaps the goal you are working towards needs to be redefined. It is difficult to get excited about something that you lack passion in. When you are working and striving to make the world a better place, everyone benefits. Those who are passionate are most likely following their dreams and they have no trouble at all getting and staying motivated. When passion drives your ideals, you live with a sense of purpose and integrity.
In light of all this, it may be time to ask yourself that all important question of what exactly is it that motivates you? What is your dream? If you haven’t discovered that magical thing that turns work into play, it may be high time to reexamine your life.
Stop and reflect….
